Corrections staff and environment can be very overwhelming, and lack of maintaining connections to allow a person to feel an outside connection of the real world without feelings of being alone and abandon. A result of being imprisoned can have a wide range of psychological, emotional, and social difficulties. Increasing communication can create vision to see the end goal to make it home as well as bringing comfort to someone who is struggling to adapt behind the prison walls. They need the ability to have a strong connection with the outside world to maintain and continue to use social skills that can become diminished under their current circumstances.
TEXT SERVICE
Keeping your communication and bonds with friends and family more convenient and easier to use though the ability to just send them a message right through their phone. Your loved one will continue to receive your messages by using their Trulinks account. The time between sending and receiving can vary based on the screening process within the FBOP. Unfortunately, we have no control over their screening processing time but on average it takes about 1 hour for you to receive the message they sent and for them to receive your incoming message.
SEND PICTURES THROUGH TEXT
By joining our text service we provide the option to allow family and friends to text pictures. We will get them printed and mailed to your loved one. Once we receive 10+ photos we will notify them of the number of photos awaiting to be sent off. Price information is available on the HOME page found under Pay Now Section. Photo delivery is not instant and has to follow FBOP regulations and will be physically sent through mailing system. Photo screening process will be completed by FBOP once it arrives at the facility and mailing department will sort to deliver the photos to addressee. We do a brief screening to ensure photos are not completely inappropriate. However, we will not be the one to decide if a photo meets approved criteria. We will not alter or cover with emojis any photos of question. If your order is denied your loved one will receive a rejected notification of mail. If facility mails photos back you have the option to remove unauthorized photos and resend with an additional shipping fee without repurchasing the existing photos. If the facility does not return the photos and destroys them we will have to charge to reprint and resend.
